AM CLASS

In the morning I have an ECE 3 class. The students are working on many skills that they will use in the future, including social skills, fine and gross motor skills, and a variety of literacy, math, and artistic skills.

I am very excited to be at Bill Roberts school. I have been an ECE teacher for eight years. This is my fourth year teaching ECE for DPS. Prior to coming to DPS, I spent five years teaching at Paddington Station Preschool. I received my teaching license through the Stanley British Primary Teacher Preparation Program in 2005. I have taught children from 2 years-old to 4th grade. In my previous life, before becoming a teacher, I was a lawyer. I practiced law and worked for a publisher as an author and legal editor. When my daughter (now 11--in 6th Grade here at Bill Roberts) came into my family, I followed my heart to my true calling, which is teaching. I hope to spend many years here and watch your children continue to grow and mature after they leave my class.

PM Class

In the afternoon I have an ECE 4 class. This class follows the DPS literacy curriculum and does everyday math. The four-year-old students are also refining their social skills as well as the other skills that are introduced in the three-year-old class. Sorry, I still need to get a group picture of the my PM class, it's coming.
